The API, CLI and MCP return workers_runtime_incompatible with HTTP 409. Repeating the same request unchanged does not help.

What to do

A Next.js file under app/, pages/, middleware or proxy imports a native addon (.node) or a Node.js module that does not run on Workers: child_process, cluster, dgram, domain, http2, inspector, readline, repl, sqlite, trace_events, tty, v8, vm, wasi, worker_threads or _stream_wrap, with or without node:. Remove or replace that import, commit and push, then plan the new commit. If the steps above do not resolve it, report it with the request_id from the error.
