The API, CLI and MCP return etag_mismatch with HTTP 409. Repeating the same request unchanged does not help.

What to do

The project changed after you read its ETag. For a rename, read etag from ‘ohmyhost project status —project ULID —json’ and repeat ‘ohmyhost project handle set’ with it. For a rollback, promotion or deletion, create a new plan and confirm with its resource_etag and confirmation_token. If the steps above do not resolve it, report it with the request_id from the error.
