The API, CLI and MCP return domain_hostname_taken with HTTP 409. Repeating the same request unchanged does not help.

What to do

A live project connection already holds this hostname. Remove it from the project you manage with ‘ohmyhost domain paid delete —project ULID —hostname HOST —yes —json’, then apply it to the new project. Repeating while that connection remains cannot work; report the request_id if you cannot manage its owning project. If the steps above do not resolve it, report it with the request_id from the error.
