The API, CLI and MCP return compute_storage_shrink_requires_migration with HTTP 409. Repeating the same request unchanged does not help.

What to do

This size includes less storage than the current volume. Keep the current database and plan an explicit data migration to a fresh smaller volume; do not retry the resize or delete data automatically. If the steps above do not resolve it, report it with the request_id from the error.
