# Connect GitHub

> Connect the repository I selected and deploy its chosen branch and commit.

GitHub is the deployment source. Push your application and its matching lockfile, then use source\_link or the CLI link command. Open the returned authorization link and allow the repository in your own GitHub account.

After authorization, repeat the same link arguments and request key, then follow the source operation. Authorization alone does not start a build. Read source\_get before deployment\_plan and use the exact inspected commit. Local archives and source uploads are not supported.
