# Resource not found

> What the `resource_not_found` error means and what to do next.

The API, CLI and MCP return `resource_not_found` with HTTP 404. Repeating the same request unchanged does not help.

## What to do

Check the resource identifier and the account: a project is visible only to its own organization, and error.acting\_as in the CLI and MCP names the login this ran as. Use the login of the account that owns it.

If the steps above do not resolve it, [report it](/feedback) with the `request_id` from the error.
