# Database write pending

> What the `database_write_pending` error means and what to do next.

The API, CLI and MCP return `database_write_pending` with HTTP 409. Repeating the same request unchanged does not help.

## What to do

A database write of this project is still running, so the project cannot be deleted yet. Read latest\_operation from 'ohmyhost project status --project ULID --json' until it is no longer running; writes are short. Then repeat the deletion, planning it again if its confirmation expired.
