# Confirmation invalid

> What the `confirmation_invalid` error means and what to do next.

The API, CLI and MCP return `confirmation_invalid` with HTTP 409. Repeating the same request unchanged does not help.

## What to do

The confirmation token does not match this action or the project's current state. A deletion is also refused while a SQL export of the project is being captured, for up to about ten minutes ('ohmyhost export get'). Then create a new plan and confirm with its confirmation\_token and resource\_etag before the token expires.
